Mini Doughnuts

- ½ cup flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- A small pinch of nutmeg
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp corn oil
- ½ tsp vanilla
- ½ cup caster sugar
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp milk
- Melted chocolate
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Whip all the liquid ingredients in another bowl.
- Combine and whisk just until everything is incorporated.
- Take a piping bag, put it in a glass and pour the batter in it.
- Oil and fill the doughnut gadget and bake according to the manufacturer’s instructions or
- Oil and fill the doughnut tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200° C/ 400° F for about 15 minutes.
- Make the frosting by combining all the ingredients.
- Start with the caster sugar.
- Add the vanilla and finally add the milk and whisk.
- Try adding it little by little so as to accomplish the perfect texture for your frosting which is quite thick.
- Place the doughnuts in the frosting and cover them completely.
- You can also melt chocolate as I did and either cover them with it or make decorations.
