Mini Doughnuts

For the Doughnuts
  • ½ cup flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • A small pinch of nutmeg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp corn oil
  • ½ tsp vanilla
For Frosting
  • ½ cup caster sugar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • Melted chocolate
Instructions/ Εκτέλεση
  1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Whip all the liquid ingredients in another bowl.
  3. Combine and whisk just until everything is incorporated.
  4. Take a piping bag, put it in a glass and pour the batter in it.
  5. Oil and fill the doughnut gadget and bake according to the manufacturer’s instructions or
  6. Oil and fill the doughnut tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200° C/ 400° F for about 15 minutes.
For the Frosting
  1. Make the frosting by combining all the ingredients.
  2. Start with the caster sugar.
  3. Add the vanilla and finally add the milk and whisk.
  4. Try adding it little by little so as to accomplish the perfect texture for your frosting which is quite thick.
  5. Place the doughnuts in the frosting and cover them completely.
  6. You can also melt chocolate as I did and either cover them with it or make decorations.
